One Random Friend

A friend makes you happy
gives you joy and make you safe
provides comfort in times of need
lending you shoulders when you cry
A friend can confide in you their secrets
and trust you to keep it safe.
A friend can forgive you
for everything you have done,
will not betray you but forgive you if you betray him
Such friends are now long extinct
I don't know where to find
But I'll try my best to reach out
and find a random friend every time.
