Speeding Ball
By Ivan Ling
A great blue ball I am, speeding around a fiery ball,
Gravity holds me,
Centrifugal forces keeps me going
Today as I speed 'round the great fiery ball,
I felt though something is diffrent
Joy and celebration I can feel,
on my face they happen
Fireworks erupt,
Joyful screams heard!
Bewildering feelings,
It gave me the collywobbles.
A new year has dawn,
my feeling feels down.
Rubbish everywhere...
Disasters around
This is my life, I say to the Moon
Her face rough, but her heart is pure
But me, I say,:
"Giving life to the people only to be defiled!"
My face once blue now gray,
speeding around as usual
around the bright, hot sun
I know my time will come,
In, a few more millennia...
